About BKD Foundation
Bako Kontagora Development Foundation (BKDF) is a Non- governmental organisation which play essential role of delivering need based services, technologies and inputs to the underserved. Government and other international Multilateral Development Agencies are doing a lot of work in providing services to these target populations. The challenge is that it is almost not enough. With government resources stretched at the moment, it is the responsibility of all to contribute in an organised manner so that the national response to the development challenges, the global goals are also meant to address can be effectively tackled.
Our implementation efforts are targeted at very remote areas other humanitarian organizations have not yet reached thereby complementing their effort and achieving the objectives of BKDF. Our major objectives are also in line with our key SDG goals. SDG action areas are SDG 1-No Poverty; SDG 2-Zero Hunger; SDG 3- Good Health and Wellbeing; SDG 4- Quality Education; SDG 5- Gender Equality; SDG 7 -Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 17- Partnerships for the goals. BKDF is registered in Nigeria with registration number CAC/IT/NO.80917 as a non-governmental organization.
