Match4IDPS, December 2017

Icons in society and community champions are used to build peace in communities through sports. This platform can be deployed to work on other activities that will form a wholesome intervention in the target communities. That explains the involvement of the NGO in the MATCH4IDPs held on the 14th of December, 2017 at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

BKDF actively took part, as the implementing NGO, in organising the charity football match between African football legends: Mohammed kalon – Seira leone;  Daniel cousin – Gabon, Lukas Radebe – South-Africa, El-Hadji Diouf – Senegal, Kanu Nwankwo- Nigeria,  Daniel Amokachi – Nigeria, Tijjani Babangida – Nigeria, Mutui Adepoju – Nigeria. The legends visited school for IDPs in Mariri, Kano and interacted with the children, encouraged, played football with them and donated some food, education and sanitary materials.
